Here is our story so far…
Hannah, as a young nurse, had pulled over to help someone in need, whilst Adam was on a gentle jog through the same local park. It was love at first sight…
Okay, okay, let’s be honest, we met through the haze on the dance floor at a nightclub in Sheffield!
Things quickly progressed and it was time for Hannah to meet Adam’s family - to celebrate Adam's 21st Birthday.
For our first weekend away we stayed at the Alton Towers hotel. If the rollercoasters weren’t enough, on the way home, Adam experienced his first meal with the in laws…
Our first Christmas together, Adam set the standards high with his presents, something he has lived to regret ever since…
After being together (and inseparable) for just over a year, we decided to take the plunge and move in together.
Having settled in our new flat, we took our first trip abroad with Hannah’s family.
Unfortunately for Hannah this was the first time we could compare real suntans.
After one very cold year in our first flat, we decided to commit to one with much better heating and an even better view.
By this point we had made many great friends in common, including Nat and Andy. Here we are in Lanzarote celebrating Nat’s 30th birthday.
Many of our friends have since got married, including Tony and Laura – at their wedding Hannah started to hear some bells of her own…
Hannah proved she shared Adam's love for adventure after he strapped her to a parachute on the back of a boat in Portugal.
However, it was our first trip skiing that was the first real test of our relationship. Let’s just say on the first day Hannah almost pushed Adam off the mountain.
By day two, Hannah had regained her trust and wiped the snow from her goggles and now we share a new hobby.
On returning from our first skiing trip, we decided it was time to start saving some money and get on the property ladder. After a few months of saving, we managed to secure and move into our beautiful first house.
Bored of painting and picking fabric for the blinds, we escaped for our second skiing holiday – with something extra special hidden in the suitcase. On the first day, we were at the top of the mountain, the sun was shining and Adam got down on his one knee to pop the BIG question.
In classic Hannah style – her response was “What are you doing on the floor? Get up!” followed later by a very happy and confident “YES!”
Having returned from the excitement of the slopes and settling nicely into our new home, Adam finally convinced Hannah to let him have a dog. That’s when we met Tilly – who has grown to be a huge part of our little family.
Set on the beautiful Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire, a stone’s throw from the historic and well-loved village of Welbeck, the red-brick Hazel Gap Barn is a striking and magical wedding barn.
Flanked by watch towers and surrounding an enchanting courtyard, Hazel Gap Barn is the perfect setting for our wedding.

You are welcome to leave your car in the car park at Hazel Gap Barn overnight, however, they will need to be collected by 10 am the following day.

If you prefer not to drive at the end of the evening, we have arranged transport to the Hotel. You are welcome to leave your car in the car park at Hazel Gap Barn overnight, however, they will need to be collected by 10am the following day.
